Professor Brent Mcinnes
Chair
Brent is the world’s foremost authority on the geological evolution of the New Ireland Basin in Papua New Guinea. He is the Executive Director of the John de Laeter Analytical Centre, a multimillion dollar research laboratory at Curtin University.
Brent is a Professor in Economic Geology and Geochemistry at Curtin University. He has 35 years’ international experience in the geoscience and resources sector including projects with TOTAL, Oil Search, BHP-Billiton, Chevron, PetroChina, Sinopec, Rio Tinto and Searcher Seismic. His honours include the 2018 Paul G Dunn Award for Research Development, the 2008 CSIRO National Service from Science Award, the 2007 Fulbright Coral Sea Fellowship at NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre, and the 2003 CSIRO Chairman’s Gold Medal for Research Excellence.

Director
A chartered accountant with 30 years’ experience as a top corporate advisor and wealth manager. Since 2007, he has focused on exploration protocols and interests in Asia-Pacific and Australasia.
Harvey is a Director of Spencer Metals and New Hanover Exploration; and was formerly Senior Vice President of Regional Affairs for Neptune Minerals, an American owned seafloor minerals exploration company with extensive interests throughout the Western Pacific region. Earlier in his career, he founded Whelan & Cook, one of Australia’s most successful private chartered accounting firms, which has now merged with the global accounting network, BDO. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, ANZ.

Tim has over 40 years’ experience in the global resources industry as a geologist and explorationist. He has a strong track record of land and marine mineral discoveries in Australasia, South East Asia and the Pacific region.
Tim is the former Chief Geologist and General Manager with Rio Tinto Exploration; and former Head of Seabed Ore Systems at CSIRO, Australia’s foremost R&D agency where he co-shared the Chairman’s Gold Medal for Excellence in Marine Science. He has founded several resources companies and is a Director of Spencer Metals and New Hanover Exploration. Tim is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Society of Economic Geologists; and a member of the American Geophysical Union.

Ian has over 30 years’ experience as a prominent financial advisor and regulator. In the last 20 years, he has drawn on developing technologies to found several businesses which are market leaders in their fields today.
These businesses include the Ward Health Group, the largest provider of medication management services in the Australian aged care sector; Biotech Resources, a leading human disease diagnostic company; and Mainstream Acquaculture, the world’s largest producer of barramundi fingerlings. Ian has been heavily involved in Australian and international financial planning reform and regulation including as a former board member of the international Financial Planning Standards Board; and as the Australian representative on the International Standards Organisation in the development of ISO 2222.

Alex is a data analytics entrepreneur and company founder with global expertise in the digital marketing industry. He has successfully positioned two of his consultancies for acquisition, most recently to dentsu inc of Japan.
Alex is the CEO of Cardinal Path, Google's largest global analytics software reseller. As a recognized expert in the data and marketing analytics industries, he is a frequent keynote speaker at conferences and has been published in major journals in the United States. Alex is the past President and Director Emeritus of the Digital Analytics Association.
